Description
Motor housing stamping parts refer to various metal parts used for motor housing assembly manufactured by stamping process
Function: Motor housing stamping parts are an important part of the motor housing. Their main function is to protect the windings, iron core and other parts inside the motor from the influence of the external environment, such as dust, water vapor, mechanical collision, etc. At the same time, it can also fix and support the internal structure of the motor, ensure that the various parts of the motor maintain a relatively stable position relationship during operation, and ensure the normal operation of the motor. In addition, motor housing stamping parts can also help the motor dissipate heat, dissipate the heat generated during the operation of the motor in time, and prevent the motor from overheating and affecting its performance and life.
Material: Motor housing stamping parts usually use metal materials with good electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and certain strength, such as low carbon steel, aluminum alloy and stainless steel. Low carbon steel has high strength and good stamping performance, relatively low cost, and is suitable for motor housings with general requirements. Aluminum alloy has the advantages of low density and good thermal conductivity, which can effectively reduce the weight of the motor and improve the heat dissipation performance. It is often used in motors with high weight and heat dissipation requirements, such as electric vehicle drive motors. Stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, and is suitable for motors working in harsh environments, such as motors in the chemical, food processing and other industries.
Manufacturing process: First, the selected metal sheet is cut into suitable blanks according to the design size and shape of the motor housing. Then, the blank is placed in the stamping die and stamped under the action of the stamping machine. During the stamping process, multiple stamping processes such as punching, blanking, stretching, and bending may be involved to gradually form the complex shape of the motor housing parts. For example, the flat blank can be processed into a cylindrical motor housing body through the stretching process; the mounting holes and heat dissipation holes can be punched out on the end cover through the punching process. After stamping, some parts may need further processing, such as welding, riveting, surface treatment, etc. Welding and riveting are used to connect the various stamping parts into a complete motor housing, and surface treatment can improve the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and aesthetics of the motor housing. Finally, after quality inspection, qualified motor housing stamping parts are sent to the motor assembly line and assembled with other parts of the motor.
Applications
Common types include: motor housing, end cover, heat sink, etc., mainly used in industrial, automotive, home appliance, 3C electronics
