Shock-absorbing stamping parts

Description

Shock-absorbing stamping parts are metal parts made by stamping process and used in various shock-absorbing systems. They play an important role in shock absorption and noise reduction in the fields of automobiles, motorcycles, construction, industrial equipment, etc.

Features

High strength and flexibility: Shock-absorbing stamping parts need to withstand various forces during vibration, so they must have sufficient strength to avoid deformation or damage. At the same time, in order to effectively absorb and buffer vibration, they also need to have a certain flexibility, be able to deform elastically when subjected to force, and convert vibration energy into other forms of energy.

Good dimensional accuracy: In order to ensure precise matching with other components in the shock-absorbing system, the dimensional accuracy of shock-absorbing stamping parts is required to be high. For example, the inner and outer diameters of the shock-absorbing spring seat, the position and size of the mounting holes of the shock absorber bracket, etc., all need to be strictly controlled within a certain tolerance range to ensure the performance and stability of the shock-absorbing system.

Fatigue resistance: During vehicle driving or equipment operation, shock-absorbing stamping parts will be continuously subjected to periodic vibration loads and are prone to fatigue. Therefore, these parts need to have good fatigue resistance, be able to maintain stable performance during long-term use, and extend service life.

Material

High-strength steel: It is a common material for manufacturing shock-absorbing stamping parts, such as spring steel. High-strength steel has high yield strength and tensile strength, can withstand large loads, and also has good elasticity and fatigue resistance. It is suitable for manufacturing shock-absorbing spring seats, shock absorber brackets and other parts with high strength and stiffness requirements.

Aluminum alloy: Due to its light weight and high specific strength, aluminum alloy is also widely used in some shock-absorbing stamping parts with strict weight requirements, such as shock-absorbing parts in some high-end automobiles or aerospace fields. Aluminum alloy materials can effectively reduce the overall weight of equipment or vehicles while ensuring shock-absorbing performance, improving performance and fuel economy.

Copper alloy: In some special shock-absorbing occasions that require good electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity or corrosion resistance, copper alloys are used to manufacture shock-absorbing stamping parts. For example, in some electronic equipment or industrial equipment in special environments, the elastic element connecting plate made of copper alloy can meet the electrical performance or corrosion resistance requirements of the equipment while achieving shock absorption.

Manufacturing process

Stamping: According to the design drawings of shock-absorbing stamping parts, high-precision stamping dies are manufactured. The selected metal sheet or coil is fed into the stamping machine, and pressure is applied to the sheet through the die to make it plastically deformed according to the predetermined shape and size. The stamping process may include multiple processes such as blanking, bending, stretching, and punching to form complex shapes and structures. For example, when manufacturing a shock-absorbing spring seat, the blank is first obtained through the blanking process, and then the main shape of the spring seat is formed through the stretching and bending processes, and finally the mounting hole is processed through the punching process.

Surface treatment: In order to improve the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and appearance quality of shock-absorbing stamping parts, surface treatment is usually required. Common surface treatment methods include electroplating, spraying, blackening treatment, etc. Electroplating can plate a layer of metal, such as zinc, chromium, etc. on the surface of the parts to improve its corrosion resistance and wear resistance; spraying can form an organic coating on the surface of the parts to play a protective and decorative role; blackening treatment can form a black oxide film on the metal surface, which can not only improve corrosion resistance, but also increase the beauty of the parts.

Applications

The main types are: shock absorber spring seat, shock absorber bracket, etc., widely used in automobiles, motorcycles, industrial equipment, electronic equipment, aerospace equipment and other fields
